Local Setup

To use these runbooks locally, you will need to install a few dependencies.

Environment

These runbooks are designed to run well inside Visual Studio Code in a Linux environment, using the Jupyter extensions for VSCode.

Running on Windows is only officially supported using WSL2, via VSCode’s WSL integration.

You must install SOPS and age.

You will need to install Python 3. Instructions are provided for Ubuntu:

Installing Python on Ubuntu

apt-get install -y python3 python3-pip

You must install a set of libraries used inside runbooks via pip:

pip install -r requirements.txt
